In 2008 Bookcliffs Council on the Arts and Humanities received the Stonehouse Gallery and it's current campus from the Morrow family in Rifle, Co. With this gift, they have been hosting classes on site since.
The Stonehouse Gallery is the most prominent building on campus. Built in the late 1800's, it has been remodeled into our mixed use gallery and classroom. With the open space it is excellent for hosting the cleaner mixed media art classes such as painting and drawing.
The Metal Arts Building will be our future ceramics and pottery studio. Please watch for more info as we eagerly await the completion of this project!
The Humanities building has recently been converted to host our Gardens Tools, as well as provide a central location for our Gardener's to meet, communicate, and share knowledge with. While a work in progress, we eagerly await our members to shape this building into a tool that fits their needs just as they have with our gardens themselves.
